Paestum and Agropoli together for a proposed tourism marketing
"cultural and gastronomic routes Paestum Agropoli is the tourism marketing plan that will be achieved by municipalities of Agropoli and Capaccio through a series of joint actions of communication and promotion of tourist markets and agribusiness. The initiative was presented this morning at the Office of Tourism in Capaccio, by the Mayor agropolese, Franco Alfieri, and his colleague, Pasquale Marino. Present Deputy Mayor and Head of Tourism of Agropoli, Mauro Inverso, President of the City Government Poseidonia Martinangeli Corrado, City Council, Capaccio and Raffaele Carmine Caramanti Barlow.
The project will develop in five actions. The first two measures to be undertaken during the week are: participation in "Casa San Remo, with tastings daily throughout the duration of the Festival of Italian Song, mozzarella di Bufala Campana and local wines, with a day (Feb. 17) dedicated to the public presentation of the tourist Agropoli, Paestum by representatives of both institutions, and the attend the International Tourism Exchange (BIT) at the Milan Fair Rho at the stand of the Campania Region, and presentation (Feb. 19), major events and regional tourism offer tasting mozzarella dop.
Under the marketing project is planned three major events: Agropoli, Paestum, in fact, after Milan and San Remo, will participate in ITB Berlin (March 9 to 13) stand in the Campania Region, the Vinitaly (April 7 to 11), and presentation Itinerary "The Streets of the Mozzarella and the Mediterranean diet" and Rome will be organized a press conference to journalists from international media.
