The ancient village of Albany celebrates 's "Green Gold" with a festival came to the seventeenth edition, to be held on 4 and 5 December 2010 in the historic center.
The event, called "DAY PROMOTION OF EXTRA VIRGIN OLIVE OIL", now already well anchored in the territory and at exploiting the oil, will feature an impressive path to revive moments of rural tradition: taverns arranged throughout the old city, handicraft exhibitions, sale of typical foods. You can enjoy dishes such as Lagan and chickpeas, Pizza Cilento, tripe and beans, browned onions, chicory, potatoes, broccoli and sausage, Sfrionza, and even with garlic and oil, Porchetta, Water Hall, Vicci and fried sweets Cilento, of course there will be the local wine, while the Institute Hotelier "Aldo Moro" cook for visitors and Potatoes sfricinate Asado. Everything is bathed in an evocative melodies of folk music.
